Picture This…
We are in the midst of some serious basement reconstruction. Among the reconstruction is a new playroom. In preparing for the remodel, I have been planning the wall art in my head for months. I received two beautiful poster prints for that wall from Online Poster Printing. I was impressed with the quality, the ease of uploading, and the final product.
My digital photos on posters turned out beautifully and I can’t wait until the carpet we ordered is installed in the room so I can place my poster prints on the wall.
Online Poster Printing has generously offered to sponsor a Giveaway here at From Inmates To Playdates. They are offering one of my readers (and me, too!) an 18×24 Poster Print. Their digital photo enlargements would make a great addition to any room in your home or office.

Tommee Tippee Cups
Tommee Tippee is the number-one brand of infant and toddler feeding products in Great Britain and has now arrived in the US at Babies R Us. I am excited to be one of the first moms in the US to review these cups. Tommee Tippee sent two sets of sippy cups for my review and of course the ultimate test of my seven-year-old, and four-year-old. Since 1965, Tommee Tippee has been earning a reputation for product quality, clever ideas, and intuitive designs that promote natural development at every age, stage and feeding need.
Granted, my seven-year-old is a bit past the sippy cup stage, but for the sake of the blog (and this review) he was happy to help out.
Upon arrival, (Tommee Tippee sent me a 2-pack of the 6+ month Explora truly spill proof trainer cup, as well as a 2-pack of the 24+ month truly-spill proof trainer cup) the cups were immediately opened and examined by my seven-year-old. I examined the valves, the lids, and the gripper area of the older cup. Then I examined the handles, the spout and the very cool hygiene cap of the 6+ month cup. I loved the bright colors and my four-year-old immediately commented that he liked the ”construction trucks” on the lime green cup.
Features of this cups include, Advance-flo technology for easy drinking, unique soft-flex spout (to protect gums), a hygiene cap, a truly non spill & leak proof lid and best of all, all tommee tippee products are BPA free!
Upon examining the 6+ month cup, I was surprised by the hygiene cap. The hygiene cup essentially keeps the spout clean when not in use. I’ve often wondered why most sippee cups were not equipped with some sort of cap. The revolutionary cap on Tommee Tippee cups is unique in that when the cap is opened, it fits perfectly flat into a hole on the lid of the cup. Genius, I tell you. That feature alone would sell me on this product.
From the web-site, I discovered the hygiene cap comes standard on many of the tommee tippee products.

The soft-flex spouts are designed to support natural oral development. My four-year-old reported that the spout was his favorite part of the cup because “my milk comes out real easy!”
My seven-year-old was able to drink orange juice WITH PULP from the cup and that is one thing that has never happened with the three other types of sippee cups we have in our home. I also challenged him to try to spill the juice from the cup. He turned it upside down and shook the snot out of it. The result? Not one drop of liquid came from the cup.
The Tommee Tippee cups were a hit with kids and parents alike here at the McResidence.
The Tommee Tippee products can be purchased at Babies R Us, or you can purchase them directly from the Tommee Tippee site. Tommee Tippee products will also be available at Toys R Us in March!
